A few years back, if someone had told me that keeping track of dirty diapers would calm my nerves, I would have laughed in their face! But, I would never laugh about it now! In fact, I’m actually buying a product just because it promises to help me keep track of those dirty diapers!
It’s called Baby Daze! It was co-authored by a professional organizer and her husband after they had their first baby.
The Baby Daze Logbook has eight sections: Feeding & Diapering, Sleeping, Pumping, Milestones, Gifts, Medical, Food Diary & Contact Forms. A notes section & pocket are included in the back.
Baby Daze also offers Sitter Slips & Packing Pals.
Sitter Slips help you easily leave your babysitter with all the information they will need about your whereabouts and your little one’s routines.
Packing Pals help you remember everything you need to take with you when you leave the house. There are different lists depending on the length of your trip: day trip, little trip or big trip. As an added bonus, they are sticky! I can see myself sticking one to my diaper bag in the evening, so when I wake up in the morning, I’ll know what I can’t forget.
If you want all three items, you can order them in a bundle and save over $5.00. Click here to order the bundle.
There are also some useful parenting articles on their website. Click here to read them.
I started my online baby registry when i was 16 weeks pregnant. While looking at cribs & strollers (both online and in stores), I was completely overwhelmed.
I know there will be plenty of opportunities to feel over my head in the next year, but I never imagined it would be over cribs or strollers! They both always seemed pretty basic to me!
I had no idea that there were billions of different brands, types, sizes & colors to choose from! You also need to consider safety, special features and reviews by other Parents.
After much googling, my favorite site for both cribs & strollers was CSN Baby. They make it painless for first timers! Take cribs for example, they start off with 3 options: Standard, Convertible or Portable. Once you select from those options, you are then given at least 15 other options, such as Stype, Design, Features and Ratings ... they even tell you if a conversion set is included!
If you are in the market for a crib or a stroller, I would definitely check it out!
As a first time Mom, I'm attempting to think ahead and make things as straightforward for myself as possible. I know that's much easier said than done, but I can try!
I recently bought the Baby Briefcase online. It has folders for the birth certificate, medical insurance, social security forms, etc. I bet this will be a big help to me during the first year of my baby's life. I'll be able to take it to all of his doctors appointments and have all his information right on hand!
